Welcome to my new blog. I'll be adding some writing about how to survive in the outdoors and in emergencies. I have an extensive outdoor background, most of it hunting and fishing in places like Alaska and many states. However, I am also USAF trained and have attended Jungle Survival School, Basic Survival School, Water Survival School, and Arctic Survival school. My 26 year plus military career, allowed me to hunt and fish where others dream of and I was lucky. In addition, I spent 13 years as a Life Support Instructor and taught Air Force crewmembers how to survive as well as use the equipment they carry for emergencies.
